If you’re on the hunt for a job, you’re probably aware that recruiters and potential employers are on social media checking out your social media profiles.

You may have gotten this advice 1 million times already, but it’s worth repeating. Be sure to clean your social accounts up, and make yourself look like the presentable person employers want to hire – not the person who holds the school record for keg stands.

Another thing to remember is that social media can work both ways.

While employers check your social profiles out, you should be having a look at theirs too. You can learn a lot about a company and its culture by how they use social media.
