It is easier to find jobs in some cities than others. Depending on where you live, however, the job search can be a daunting prospect. You might have amazing qualifications but are simply living in a city where jobs are hard to come by in your industry.

This infographic from Hansen & Company takes you through cities where you have a fantastic chance of finding a job, or at the very least a better chance. If you live near any of the cities mentioned in the infographic it may be worth your while to check out the job boards in the area.

Two places experiencing some great growth are Plano, Texas and Madison, Wisconsin. If you’re the type of person who doesn’t like morning commutes, Madison could be the perfect place for you.

While the national average for a commute is 25 minutes, citizens of Madison enjoy an average commute of 19 minutes. It’s also a clean and attractive city to live in so you should enjoy a very high standard of living.

California seems to be a mixed bag. On one hand, you have great opportunities for people in cities like Irvine but in other parts of California such as, Stockton, Modesto, and San Bernardino there are very high unemployment rates.
